Before the Fall, humans were given the command to fill the earth and have dominion over it, but sin has tainted humans so that dominion is used destructively rather than to protect and support. I see the problem with using the "population control" mindset to paint abortion as a public good, but to paint sinful humans as never having a negative impact on the world God has given us is disingenuous.
