Was a member of the ELCA in St Louis that was completely doctrinal. The pastor left and was replaced by an interim gay pastor. He adorned himself with the pastoral clothing that would have made a priest proud. Behind the scenes he was working to replace staff and promote others who shared this lost un Christian worldview, while all the time denying it.
Seven years later, you have this. The sad part is that some of the elderly still go and actively participate. They have their friends there and their gay children and grandchildren can go there, as if they can’t go to a real church. Sin is accepted and applauded.
The last time I was there they had a Washington University Doctor, who has made the news leading Gender Reassignment, talking to the congregation about the normality of gender fluidity. That was the beginning of this cult. It is nothing but evil dressed in a fabulous robe.
Beyond the doctrinal horrors of this 'creed' is another dimension: the martyrs. They gave their lives for a creed that is now being thrown out. Their blood is the seed of the church, and their sacrifices are being silenced by ideological idolatry. Lord, have mercy on us!
