Pastor, this is somewhat tangential in nature, but is the image (Kyrie.png) on The Litany page of your website the entire image? If not, do you have a source for the entire image? I enjoy recreating older woodcuts of biblical scenes, like Durer, on my woodworking projects. This is quite an inspirational image and I would appreciate any help if the image there is incomplete as my searches have come up empty. Thank you for all that you do for the Church.
Beautiful confession of faith by Jacob. Luther points to the New Testament to ‘thy word is truth’ and by that word all things work together for their good. Right after reading this gift, I listened to a podcast (30 Min in the NT) on Matthew 12:33-37, which further emphasized the Word and Truth. Our confession will justify or condemn.
You said: shared liturgies and prayers as a project.
I say yes! I find myself clicking on or reading those more than anything else.
I am struggling with the word liturgy, and wrote about it last year. A person of another denomination was using the word liturgy loosely as in something we can daily find in our regular rhythms of life type of thing. I did not like that because liturgy to me is divine to be a reverence. I struggle with the dumb-down trend on the internet. Don’t let it be that and teach us what liturgy really is. We know. But I think we don’t “know.”
Wonderful stuff Pastor Wolfmueller! That piece of commentary from Dr. Luther on Genesis 31:42 is stunning! Absolutely love it! The dung of our murmurings cannot harm we who have faith in the Word because He works all things together for our good. Oh what mercy and grace! Thank you Lord Jesus 🙏
I started listening to The World of the Lord Endures Forever last year and love starting my day with it. When I'm still bleary-eyed and just able to sip my morning coffee while it's still dark, I love to listen to Pastor Weedon open the Scriptures and bring me Jesus. I especially appreciate how he brings in so many Church Fathers and Fathers of the Reformation, as well as hymns.
Thanks for the Christmas liturgy, it made the day a little more special for kids & Grandkids before diving into presents, will definitely look forward to seeing more through the Church year
Pastor W: These shared liturgies and prayers are a lovely idea; it is too easy for our everyday Christian lives to lapse into consuming -Christian- content. (However nourishing ) A shared litany etc is a practice and reminds us that we are not just consumers but doers and speakers
Blessings to all in the Year of Lord 2024! Just wanted to share that I start each morning with the Around the Word Devotions and follow it with the podcast, The Word of Lord Endures Forever. Both have been true keys in strengthening my faith and providing the comfort of God’s Word!

I pray that I have this right.
