So... that verse, Psalm 100:3, was such a help when I was in college wrestling with depression related to 'self-image'. I was at a Christian college, and after some encouragement from my grandma, I talked to a counselor (a very good one, as it turned out.) Ultimately, the combination of Isaiah 6 when Isaiah is overcome by the disparity of God's Greatness, and his own uncleanness and this verse, "It is He that has made us, and not we ourselves," that I discovered God's love for me - not because I was lovable, but because He is love. It has been disheartening to look for that and have it translated, 'It is He that has made us and we are His.' Yes, it's true - but it doesn't have the same reassurance that says, "I made you, I love you. You don't need to be someone else to impress me or do the work I've set before you." Anyway - just thanking you for underlining that for me.
Right now I am listening to different covers of Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da on loop. This apparently means I have bad taste in music since a BBC poll rated it the "worst song ever" at one point?
Start with almost anything that Hoagy Carmichael wrote and you will find a long list of often-recorded songs like Stardust, Georgia on my mind, lazybones, etc...The guy was prolific.
You and Geof (there was a season of many covers of Beth by Kiss... still scarred). Molly is picking up this habit, too. So much sympathy and empathy for Keri!
"Pancho and Lefty" - Willie and Merle, Townes Van Zandt, or Emmylou ?
yeeeeessssssssss!
Hey Pastor B if you haven’t heard this one check it out. Comes with a true story. David Bromberg singing Mr. Bojangles.

Nearly everything Postmodern Jukebox covers? Some examples:
Mr. Blue Sky - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTbNCezCJNM
Smooth Criminal - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRRJIUI6-tY
Ahhh this is great. Out of the MANY, here’s my favorite Hallelujah: https://youtu.be/Qt2FWAbXinY
Joe Cocker's "With a Little Help from My Friends" (many might not realize it was originally a Beatles song)
Emmylou Harris - "Till I Gain Control Again"
BTW - Discovered Ralph Kramer with "Man in the Middle"
Bonus - not a cover - Harlan Howard's "Sunday Morning Christian"

Dolly Parton’s version of “Heaven Let Your Light Shine Down” by Collective Soul is nice. Even better?
"King of the Road" written and performed by Roger Miller. Dean Martin and Boxcar Willie give 2 of my favorite renditions of this classic "hobo" song.
Smooth as Tennessee Whiskey.
Hurt (I love the Johnny Cash version)
Goodness of God. I watch YouTube: Blanca, Don Moen, and Spontaneous//We The Kingdom//Take Two. Really like them all.
