Dear Friends,
It’s been a great travel month. I’ll try to get an update out soon on our visit to England, Ireland, and Scotland, and the Lutherans there.
In the meantime, I’m very pleased that St Paul Austin will be hosting a conference on the intersection of theology and technology next month.
The conference is called the Digital Catacombs, and it is in Austin, Texas from July 26-28.
Here are a few of the topics:
Cybersecurity Expert – An Overview of New and Emerging Threats: Standing Firm in Faith Amid Digital Oppression
Andrew Packer – Navigating Digital Realms: Pastoral Care in the Modern Age
Brent Clingerman – Faith Meets the Digital Age: AI and Bioethics in the Christian Perspective
Cybersecurity Expert – Practical Considerations: These Are the Tools and Why You Should Use Them
Roger Peters – Preserving Our Heritage: The Importance of Print in the Digital Age
I will also have a few sessions on faithful engagement in new media.
Click here for more information, and to register.
I hope you will consider attending. And, please pass this information on to people who might be interested.
Christ is risen!
Pr Bryan Wolfmueller
That’s great that we have some other Lutherans in cyber security. I work in cybersecurity myself.
