Bryan, you could add Luther's experience with the storm, lightning and fear of the devil when young. Some also say his teaching of Romans and Galatians in the years before the posting of the thesis was also big in development of his thot toward justification by faith alone. Leave out the Council of Trent. Blessings,

I gleefully offered 1517 as the new security code for my church and got a look from my Anglo-Catholic priest. It was worth it!
