Christ is Risen!
1/ Looking in the Wrong Place (Luke 24:5)
The angels to the women: "Why do you seek the Living among the dead?"
2/ An Easter Chronology
At first glance, it looks like the Gospels don’t mesh with their Easter accounts. Here’s how I think they all fit together:
3/ Digital Catacombs conference in Pagosa Springs this summer
The second annual Digital Catacombs conference will be June 15-17 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Pagosa Springs, CO. This conference will be for anyone interested in how Christian families and congregations can prepare to withstand the assaults of the world and the devil who are both obsessed with silencing the saving truth. Guest speakers include Rev. Dr. Adam Koontz of Brief History of Power fame, Rev. Bryan Wolfmueller, the artist Arthur Kwon Lee, and Dr. Michael Brown. Come and learn about how we can adapt ourselves to the challenges of the digital world and how to prepare our children to endure wordly pressure to abandon the faith. You will be hearing an encouraging message that looks to Christ's continued presence among us by Word and Sacrament. Registration is only $150. A mini VBS for the kids will be provided. To register, call 970-731-4648 or email: digitalcatacombs@protonmail.com.
Even if you can’t come, you should follow the Digital Catacombs on Twitter: @DgtlCatacombs
4/ The Next Season of What-Not, the Podcast
Lent Up Early was a great run, but I’m going to slow it down and change up the format for the next few weeks. I’ll start with a question, then dig into one of the best Scriptures that addresses that question.
I started today with a question about if murder ends life before God wills, and then I dig into the text of Genesis 50:19.
Find the podcast here. Send your questions here.
5/ A Riddle of a Map
Here’s a pilgrimage map first published in 1500. (Probably the map Luther used on his pilgrimage in 1510 or 11.) It’s difficult to figure out what is what, but when you see it you see it.
(This looks like something from the Lord of the Rings. Erhard Etzlaub pilgrim map.)
6/ Holy Week Sermons
You can find the sermons from Holy Week on the St Paul Austin YouTube page.
Remember to go to your pastor's Bible Class this week and, read old theology books. (If you don't have a pastor or congregation, click here. If you don't have old theology books, click here.)

Thank you, again, for your time and attention, and for your prayers. Please keep in touch.
