I’m declaring today Ascension Awareness Day!
1/ While they were gazing… (Acts 1:9)
And when he had said these things,
as they were looking on,
He was lifted up,
and a cloud took Him out of their sight.
2/ On the Ascension
Tomorrow is 40 days after the resurrection. So, 1990 year ago tomorrow Jesus walked with the disciples up the Mount of Olives and disappeared from their sight.
There is a lot more happening in teh Ascension than we normal consider.
